My NF2

Neurofibromatosis type 2 causes tumors to grow on nerves, which eventually damages them. By removing those tumors, the chances of nerve injury are very high. So in most cases it's a double-edged sword. Not intervening will result in injury, and removing them will most likely damage them aswell. Best course of action is to monitor and only intervene in life threatning situations. So far, NF2 has caused me: - Right foot paralysis (around 13years of age – nf2 diagnosed) -Several migraines teen age (visual aura, massive headaches, puking, aversion to light) - Left vocal chord paralysis -Progressive pain on neck near spinal-medula/brain steam area  (Surgery fixed it) -Began to lose control over fingers/hands.
